ramen ting 040' uidance Courwelvr l BEAULAH V. COOK, B.S., M.Ed. Future Teachers Club Mrs. Beulah V. Cook, Beaver High's busy beaver, handles the job as student counselor like a veteran. Anyone who has attempted to see her will testify to the fact that there is usually a waiting line as in a doctor's oFfice. And as a doctor she listens to complaints, makes a diagnosis, studies it and offers solutions. With her advise on such matters as well as encouragement to- ward scholarship applications and selection of the proper college or job many of us have 'Found our problems to be less diFFicult to solve. We, members of the class of l956, owe you many thanks, Mrs. Cook, 'For the interest in our problems, for the guidance toward their solution, and not least of all the time you have given to us individually. 10

MR. CHARLES S. LINN, Princip l We were happy to note that the student body under the leadership of its organization, the student council, was thoughtful and appreci- ative of the myriad of things-great or small that Mr. Linn does for us, by presenting him a gift at the Christmas Assembly. Many times we go through a school year thinking only of Mr. Linn as a glorified police officer-ready to bawl us out or slap us in detention hall for some trivial offense. In reality such things are as distatste- ful to him as they are to us but we leave him no choice by our actions. Our sincerest thanks also to Mrs. Mary Grove and Mrs. Janet Williams for all the many favors granted. Mrs. Mary Grove Mrs. Janet Williams 9 Conscientious, hardworking, ever mindful of the many details of operating a large high school, Mr. Linn goes about his daily chores in a quick and efficient manner. Perhaps he does take too many of the burdens on his shoulders but we know that he feels that they are his obligations. May we express our warmest thanks and sincere appreciation to you, Mr. Linn, for every- thing you have done to make our education complete and successful. Class of 1956
