Overly, Mr. W Thompson, Mrs. R. Hendrickson, Mr. W. Reehl. The school year of T952-53 will be marked as the year of iointures. Throughout the state, as a result of recent legislation, school districts have been combining into what is referred to as Jointures, or Joint School Districts. This merely means that boards in local districts have decided to join together for cooperative efforts to improve the financial, educational and administrative functions of the entire area. From this iointure will grow, in many in- stances, the Union District. The Beaver Area, comprised of Beaver and West Bridgewater Boros, Boro and Brigh- ton Townships have now formed a Jointure. Whether this will be transformed into a Union District will be determined by a vote of the people in the future. Secretary to the Joint Board Mr. Donald Porter Beaver Boro: Mr. T. Vates, Mr. C. At present there are 22 members of the ioint board-five each from West Bridgewater, Boro Township and Brighton Township, and seven from Beaver. Officers and committee chairmen are as follows: Joseph Langsdale, President, John Horter, Vice President, Don Porter, Secretary, A. Melkerson, Treasurer.
