BHS Band Plays ALL THAT JAZZ After competing in the District Contest and receiving a Superior rating, the Duster Band traveled to Norman for State Competition. After finishing the State Contest the band took a detour by way of Dallas, Texas, where they took part in a festival held at Six Flags. 1 Above: Working in the concession stand and holding a work day were two of the projects that helped fund the band trip to Dallas. CAN'T STOP THE MUSIC Displaying a multitude of talent as a group and individually, the BHS Chorus fared very well in District and State contests. The group received a Superior rating in both concert and sightreading in the District Contest. Also at District five soloists and one duet were given a Superior rating.
