CHARLES PIETRO PRINCIPAL Though he has many duties to perform as principal of our school, Mr. Pietro always seems to make time for his students, who are his main concern, no matter how busy he is. It seems he always has an outstretched hand ready to help any student and discuss problems about almost anything. He is also very concerned with all the functions of our school. It is his understanding and concern for his students and their activities that makes our school what it is. His actions are greatly appreciated by all, and we just want to say, Thank you for caring. 22

DR. J. RICHARD FRUTH SUPERINTENDENT Dr. J. Richard Fruth, Superintendent of the Big Beaver Falls School District, is very qualified for his office. He has the ability necessary to make thoughtful decisions concerning many school policies. Dr. Fruth always strives to raise the standards of our school and our school district. He demonstrates his ability and his authority as he helps to improve the relations among the administration, faculty and student body. His cooperativeness, capable leadership, and friendly spirit make him a welcomed member of the B.F.H.S. administration. STANLEY C. BROBECK ASSISTANT SUPERINTENDENT Aiding Dr. Fruth as the Assistant Superintendent of the Big Beaver Falls Area School District, Mr. Stanley C. Bro-beck has a very busy schedule. In addition to assisting Dr. Fruth and answering questions that arise at school board meetings, Mr. Brobeck is in charge of census taking, busing, and curriculum study. The entire student body at B.F.H.S. is very grateful for all his time and effort. 21

EVAN NARDONE ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL Mr. Evan Nardone, the assistant principal of B.F.H.S., is a very prominent figure around our high school. He puts forth much effort to deal with all students and their problems honestly. Mr. Nardone also plays an active role in all school activities. We would like to thank him for all of his time and cooperation to make our school a better place. i LAREE RILEY GUIDANCE DIRECTOR Mrs. Laree Rjley, sponsor of the Senior Class and Director of Guidance, devotes much of her time guiding students on the right path to their futures. She helps students choose the right courses for the careers they have in mind. Mrs. Riley contributes a lot of her time to assist the Senior Class with their graduation and prom arrangements. We would all like to extend our sincere gratitude to Mrs. Riley for all she has done for us. WILLIAM A. SMITH CURRICULUM COORDINATOR Mr. William Smith, Director of Curriculum since 1971, has a large job in coordinating the courses at the elementary and secondary levels. He attempts to keep the students and teachers well informed about the various school programs. For his concern and great help, the students at B.F.H.S. are very appreciative. 23
