DR. J. RICHARD FRUTH SUPERINTENDENT As Superintendent of the Big Beaver Falls School District, Dr. I. Richard Fruth has helped to improve our school in many ways. His ability to make thoughtful decisions and remain calm in any situation helps him carry out his duties which include improving administration, faculty, and student relations. The entire student body is grateful for Dr. Fruth's support, strength, and ability. TO THE CLASS OF '73 One of the many measures of genius in the American system of life has been its comprehensive system of free public education. The compulsory part of this educational period can take a young citizen from kindergarten through high school. Many important Americans have felt that this system of public education has been the crowning jewel of American democracy. It is the major ingredient that could and should make democracy work. May the knowledge and self-discipline that a good public education gives, enable you to make your life an intrical part of the fabric that is America. Your support and improvement of our free public education system can guaran- tee the same opportunities to future Americans. Free means free to those who go to school and free of restrain so the people, through their representatives, can manage and control it. May all your days be filled with doing, with excitement, and with accomplishment. -I. Richard Fruth 20 A NHNE SCHOUL BO RD A good school board is vital to any school system. We at BFHS are all thankful for the wise decisions our school board makes conceming the Beaver Falls School System. Throughout the year, these members vote on issues concerning the students and select new members of the faculty and ad- ministration. Our school board members have dedicated much of their time toward the betterment of BFHS, and we want to thank them for the time and energy they have given us. 1 K i

Brobeck, Assistant Superintendent of the Big Beaver Falls School District, has a very busy schedule assisting Dr. Fruth and answering questions that arise at school board meetings. In addition to these duties, he also takes charge of census taking, busing, and curriculum study. For all his time and effort, the students of BFHS are very grateful and appreciative. ACOAL FORTHE FUTURE The great frontier today is the explora- tion of the human potential, man's seem- ingly limitless ability to adapt, to grow, to invent his own destiny.
