MISSING MISSING TIGER 1961 published by the students of BEAVER FALLS AREA HIGH SCHOOL 3 BEAVER FALLS, PENNSYLVANIA MAY 1961 Soon our days in B.F.H.S. will draw to a close; for us, the seniors, permanently; for the juniors and sophomores, temporarily. No doubt our high school days have had a profound effect upon us. It is our hope that we have made B.F.H.S. better for having been here, so that we may part, “and departing leave behind us foot-prints on the sands of time.” When destiny separates us from the intimate friends of high school days and causes us to follow in footsteps of previous graduates, the Tiger Staff hopes that treasured memories may more easily be revived by the ’61 SENIORS 62-63 SPORTS MUSIC ACTIVITIES DR. L. D. SMITH Superintendent of Schools Dr. Smith is an inspiration to both faculty and students. He is always showing us new pathways that lead to the many goals which we hope to achieve during our lifetime. His encouragement in the field of sports as well as scholarship, has given us the incentive to strive to do our best. The memories of his co-operativeness and capable leadership will always remain in the minds of R.F.H.S. students as they recall their high school years. This year, we, the students of Beaver Falls High School, were again very fortunate to have in our midst a foreign exchange student. Ernesto Mayans comes to us from Uruguay. Since he has been with us, we have learned much about his homeland and we hope that he has learned much about ours. “Ernie” will long be remembered in Beaver Falls by all who knew him. We hope his future years will be filled with the success he so well deserves and with happy memories of his stay in the United States.
