The hand can always he depended upon to give a top flight performance, whether on the football field, at basketball games, in assemblies, or at the annual spring concert. Mr. Parrish, director of instrumental music in our high school, with his hard work and diligence has made the Beaver Falls High School Band the best in the county. Our own men of swing, the Tiger Swingsters, have given our whole school many enjoyable hours of popular, classical, and jazz music. ORCHESTRA No less capable is the orchestra. The ease with which they play difficult music is gaining them much praise. They have given proof of their ability in our assemblies and concerts. After weeks of training and hard work they presented the beautiful and inspiring Christmas Concert to a large and appreciative audience. Equally enjoyed was the spring concert which offered “Selections from Romberg”; “Tbe Heavens Are Telling” from “The Creation”, and “Song of Destiny” by Brahms. Beaver Falls High School salutes you the choir for a job well done. It is hard to find words to express the appreciation and respect we have for our talented choir director, Mr. Greig. He has spent unlimited time and effort to train the choir to sing as well as it does. Through his leadership, choral music is one of the outstanding contributions of our high school to the coin-munity. As we leave high school and go our separate ways, we will always remember Mr. Greig who offered his help whenever he could and was a friend to all. HIOHO Harold W.
