LDL R1 :ff emofciam I think I will lie down to rest. And thus, resting, our past Super- intendent of Beaver Falls Schools. Ur. J. R. Miller, passed from this world into the better one. A cold wind hlcw through our hearts when this news reached us. A cloud passed over the bright sun of happiness when we realized that our true and highly respected friend had been called home. As superintendent his service was outstanding. He was a constant worker to put our high school on top. He was always ready to lend a helping hand, and he was a friend in whom all could coniide. His careful thinking helped us over many difficulties and his foresight prevented many errors. His life was one of useful effort, more for others than for himself. So long as memory serves us, we will not forget him: so long as records endure, his work will live.

onfsnfi Awsniou The magic word that is so important to every class suddenly became our name, and the Class of '49 lost no time in making the title a real- ity. After a wonderful senior year we bid goodby to our Alma Mater where we have spent the best years of our lives. 8615.155 The Sophomores and Juniors are equally important in maintaining a high pitch of school spirit. Ban- quets, money-making schemes, and parties are all a part of their full schedule. Spam As we watch our first-class teams always striving to put the orange and black on top we can also find true and loyal students supporting the team with shouts of enthusiasm. As long as B. F. H. S. lives so shall these shouts ring out. Jlflusia We owe the band, orchestra, and choir a vote of thanks for the fine music they provided in pro- grams, assemblies, and spring concerts. They hold a place of prominence in the eyes of the entire stu- dent body. Lgzgarzizafiona Another year is over, but the memories of this year will linger. Happy moments at for- mals, parties, plays, and exhibitions will never be forgotten. Wednesday mornings set aside for our many organization meetings proved to be an asset to our busy lives.
