The aim of the 1939 Tiger Staff has been to malce this yearbook resemble a theater pro- gram. Each feature of the entire performance is paralleled by some phase of student life and activities. To prove this twentieth century version, we are therefore presenting an annual whose features are presented as sensed through the eyes and ears of Beaver Falls High School students with the hope that we may carry with us vivid memories of our high school days. By having General 'iEven Cure Treads applied to your tread worn tires by us. VVHAT IS A GENERAL EVEN CUREI' TREAD? A tread of new, live tread rubber sc'entifically applied and vulcanized to a tire that has been worn smooth and needs rubber protection. HOW DOES THIS GENERAL EVEN CURE TREAD IMPROVE THE TIRE? Cal By putting a cushion between the road and the carcrss that greatly reduces risk of blow-outs and punctures. fbj By giving new, safer, non-skid traction on wet pavements. HOW IS CAR PERFORMANCE IMPROVED? Caj By making steering much easier. General '4Even Cure Treads wear even. fbi By reducing rumble caused by smooth-worn tires, and making the car roll easier, thus reducing gasoline consumption. ' DO MY TIRES JUSTIFY APPLYING THE GENERAL EVEN CURE TREAD? Any vtell made tire that is worn smooth and has good sidewalls and beads more than justifies a new running surface. VVe can determine this by careful inspection, WHAT MILEAGE CAN I EXPECT? You can reasonably expect the General Even Curel' treads to deliver the same mileage as the original, just as shoes with good uppers will give full second wear when resoled with high grade materials. HOVV ARE THEY DIFFERENT FROM ORDINARY RETREADS AND RECAPS? The General Process replaces only the surface that actually wears off. No heat is applied to the sidewalls, hence they are not cured as with other processes. Your tire is buffed dilierently, cemented differently and vulcanized differently. You get a complete new tread. VVHAT DOES GENERAL EVEN CURE TREAD COST? This varies according to size. In no case does it equal M the cost of good tires. In many cases it is less.
