ROLAND HAKTUS ii He s not a rule braker just a mxschief maker XX Hi' 2-?! Though high school students may oft-times complain about home- work, teachers and ed- ucation in general, as graduation approaches, voices become still and thoughts turn fondly and sadly backward. We journey back to our freshmen year when, entering apprehensive and wide eyed, we soon became familiar with high school routine. Here we discovered that school life did not con- sist entirely of classrooms and books. Eagerly and energet- ically entering our soph- omore year, we traveled from biology class to math exciting chagrined and exasperated. Supplement- ing our academic education with a dash of social flavor furnished by the Sophomore Dance, Sophomore Tea, sports, dances, etc. We came through scarred but victorious. DAVID ZUEHLS Last but not least After a summer re- covery we strode toward a new battlefield, anti- cipating a year of surprises and hilarity. We had the privilege of being the first class to have its Prom in the new school. Lectures and information concerning collegiate topics began to seize our interests. Thus, we walked confi- dently and self assured into the school year of T958-59 as high school Seniors. Haughtily enjoying top rank, it wasn't long before our fa- culty members cautioned us to reconsider our growing egos. Of course we heartily expressed our sentiments con- cerning this subject. But now, as graduation nears and after scholarship testing and many college ex- plorations, we stand quietly remembering. It wasn't so bad after all. But lookl The future beck- ons!
