Introduction In every age, in every clime, bells have served as a vibrant medium for man's finest thoughts and deepest emotions. They joyfully ring out glad tidings, systematically sound the passage of time, and dolefully toll forth the message of death. Bells influence each day of our lives, calling us to school, to work, to meals and to play. The most glorious peal ever toned, however, is that which awakens love in the hearts of men and beckons them to prayer, to Mass, and thus to God. We of Beaumonfs graduating class of the Marian Year hope to express the importance of bells through the 1954 Pampette, and we pray that as we respond to these bells more consciously each year, their magnetic force will draw us irresistably to that holier life which leads to the City of the Eternal Bells, to proclaim the infinite glory of God for all eternity. 7
