r lAbove left: Taking pictures Firsf day af school brings chaos First day at BHS is an ex erience that every freshman remembers: it's 1Fike entering a new world . Everything and everybody is soooooooo big, and the first reaction to the place is total bewilderment. Seniors seem to be much older than they are , and teachers seem as permanent as buildin fixtures. The fieling of lost identity haunts all freshmen and transfer students, but this feeling soon fades away with familarity. Most of the first day is spent writing themes or compositions about the summer vacation. The other half of the day is taken up with changing schedules and being placed in the right classes. The most interesting cpart of first day, however, is being with friends an making new ones. The impression of the school is good, but it is warm friendly atmosphere that makes it the greatest. r 5 ?
