The win was a glorious one. in that the deciding touch- downs were scored in the last quarter. Throughout the first half Central held the Bluejackets scoreless. but with the beginning of the second half the tide changed and Beaumont held the upper hand. scoring two touchdow ns and both conversions for a thrilling I4-l 'S come-from-behind victory. Though this year's squad didn't haye a flashy record. there were certain high points in the season that stand out. A good example of this is the Mc- Kinley game when the Blue and Gold held the Public High League Champions to one touchdown. Both teams were up for the game. This w as apparent through hard blocking and yicious tackling. A bad break on a fourth down situation cost Beaumont the game. The season came to a close all too soon. as the Jackets completed the P.H.l.. route with a 3 and 4 record. The outlook on next y'ear's team is very bright. with almost the whole team back.
