A JUNIOR SPEAKS We now feel that our class occupies an honorary position in our school. We have tried not to be satisfied with something good but have been continually striving for something better and then best, always hoping to surpass those before us. The Junior Class boasts two cheerleaders, two band members, three majorettes, five bus drivers, twenty-one competitors in varied sports, and a number of distinguished mem- bers of every club. To make this year complete, we are planning and dreaming of a wonderful banquet which we feel confident in saying will be a whale of a success. It could be nothing else with a class such as ours plus two wonderful helpers, Mrs. Wren Lawrence and Mrs.Don Chadwick, who have helped make this, our junior year, truly a memorable one. A SOPHOMORE SPEAKS At last the most devilish Freshman Class that has ever entered high school has sur- vived all the teasing and belittlement from the upperclassmen and has become the proud Sophomores of '55. Our class is well represented in high school by its many members who take part in the activities and sports. Though many classes have considered their Sophomore year dull, it has been an ex- citing one for us and full of surprises. With the help of Mrs. Fodrie and Mr. Harrell, we pass on to be the Juniors of 1956, never forgetting the wonderful times we have shared together during our Sophomore year at Beaufort High. ■iifl
