It has been said that the true strength of a com- munity could be measured by the character of its women. If this be true, then we, at Beaufort High School are richly blessed. In reflecting, we find it difficult to single out anyone person as our best friend. Yet, there is one who is known, loved and honored by the students of this school, one who through her high ideals in life and her pure Christian character has been the in- spiration of today and who will be the guiding spirit of tomorrow.
