Foreword The enduring spirit of good sportsmanship, the rewarding efforts of hard work and healthful play, the moldingof character, morals, and aspirations--these make up the glorious and memorable days we spend at Bearden High School. This book has been made possible through the co-operation of students. faculty, and patrons. Turner, who for the past ten years has given both time and effort toward making Bearden outstanding. For this we express our appreciation. The American Field Service is a student exchange program whose purpose is tocreate international understanding. Each year it brings to the United States high school students from foreign countries.
