An individuals personality is expressed in a myriad of ways. It is shown by a person's body language, dress, and talk. The way a person sits, stands, and walks reveals much about that person's personal- ity. Dress expresses a self-imager it makes a statement on how people feel about them- selves and their surroundings. Speech pat- terns, loud, soft, aggressive or shy, illumi- nate personality. And finally, the unique thoughts and emotion which can't be dupli- cated by anyone else define personality. Steph Grafner best defined personality when she said, Personality is a person's mind and feelings shown on a concrete form to the outside world. X Pat Amick and Brian Cambell show that personalities come new with varying facial expressions. UST THE RIGHT. . . PRIDE Shining Spirit school full of pride is a school that's alive! Pride is the enthusiasm about the things you're involved in, stated Charla Mason. Looking through the halls there is a lot of excitement. Students talk of their success in their classes and athletics. Kristi Young stated, Pride is a special value you place on things that are important to you. Displaying school colors, attending as- semblies, and sporting events are not the only way of displaying pride. Looking at the honor roll, peer counselors, academic achievers, and valedictorians, students be- come aware of the other ways pride is shown. Watching my friends receive awards for straight A's made me proud to go to Bear Creek where it is important to be yourself and strive for the best, stated Whitney Flinn. Pride is believing in yourself, holding your head high, and being the best you can be! Senior Band members discuss the correct way to build a human pyramid.
