American Frontier in- vestigates the various frontiers of the pioneer, miner, and Indian, while Industrial America studies America's industrial leaders. Then comes the Confederation, Federalism, Nat- ionalism, Sectionalism and the Civil War class that examines the period of crisis after the revolution. The World History program also offers a var- iety of courses. The Ancient and Classical Civilizations class studies law, religion and science in areas such as Egypt and the lVlid- dle East, while the IVliddle Ages and 20th Century Europe class study the dark ages . The hard task of coordinat- ing separate staffs and ideas does not always run smoothly. This organization needs a pool of different ideas and points of view. An important part of getting a book into print, includes deadlines. Basically these dead- line dates seem to offer times of frantic rushing around. Generally this presents a pressure situation for everyone. Somehow the pages always get to the publishing company for printing. The struggle between different staffs seems ever present. Staffs such as, photographers, typists, and page workers need to work as one team. Com- promises between staffs add to a better chance of producing a great book. An an- nual staff includes dedicated students who strive toward one goal-a good yearbook. S4 -. iff Y Hard Work - Bear Tracks 1.
