“Class History - In the fall of 19'-I-3 and the spring of 'l4J4, Mrs. Oliver met lh pupils at the School House door. The kindergarten kids we'l1 list, one by one, Jed Simms, Richard Thomas, and Dale Johnson. These smiling faces marched down the hall- Barbara Storjohann, Gary Goettsch, and Phyllis Boll. Barbara Kopsa and Kathleen Lucas also fall in line, Masters Nichol, Connell, and Kuhl ---- Help to make this rhyme. Now who's that from the cloak room peering? Why it's Peggy Ladehoff and Fred Viering. We've listed them all, I think! Whoops, we forgot Larry Zinklll In 'MS we gained Gene Storjohann, but Thomas and Connell And on to second grade Mrs. Lynch sent us--happy and gay. Then Mrs. Lynch added to ner second grade clan, Larry Harris, Larry Blackford, and Janet Weatherman. And oh how it broke our heart, When from our class, Storjohann and Boll did part. The third grade was taught by Mrs. Johnson, We lost Goettsch and Nichol and gained Donald Dobson. In the fourth our teacher remained the same, Dobson, Weatherman, and Simms left-Velva Smoldt came, How quickly time in Miss Buhmann's Sth grade did go, Gary Goettsch is with us once more, you know. We hated to see Johnson leave, So we all sat down to grieve. In 6th grade Larry Rogers moved here, We won't forget Ann Elmore and Eugene Jones never fear. When Harris and Blackford left the troop, There were 2 less in Miss Dannen's group. when Mrs. Hilsabeck taught the 7th grade crew, Rogers and Smoldt departed and Jones did too. We're in the assembly, alas! A different room for every class. Gerald Hansen and Larry Harris came that year, Tom and Richard Cartee are also here. Seems as though there's someone more, Sure, here comes Helen Conrad through the door. Initiation was fun in our Freshman year, Tom Wilson and Barbara Prosser joined us here. Richard Cartee left us soon, This made one less in our platoon. Gerald Ralston joined us, while Prosser moved away, This happened in our Sophmore year, I forgot to say. Giving the Jr.-Sr. Banquet made this year fly, To Tom Cartee we said good-bye. With all those we picked up and lost along the way, There are 12 Seniors to Graduate this May. moved away,
