--- M- CLASS PROPHECY The Beaman Plaza, located on Park avenue, covers a whole block and has spacious lawns. with beautiful fountains and flower plots. This famous night club attracts guests from far and near. It is beautifully decorated and the entertainment is out of this world. The proprie- tor is a graceful, handsome, blonde who personally welcomes all guests. jackie, as he is kn- own to his guests, will be remembered as john Kitzman of the 1946 class of B. H. S. One evening there was great excitement at the outer door and as jackie appeared on the scene he was very happy to see Queen of Homes, Donna Lynch and her King entering the P- laza. At once the special guest table was prepared for these latest visitors and jackie, him- self sat at the table with Queen Donna. 'He learned, that after graduating from B. H. S., she had attained her highest hopes, that of reigning in her own home. And due to the Home Eco- nomics course at Beaman High School, her home was one to be proud of. In the course of the evening jackie asked Queen Donna if she knew what had become of the other members of the class of 1946. In answer, she brought forth a tiny vand and waving it, gently said, Look for yourself. In amazement jackie saw the Hunter College Gyin and a girls Basketball game about to b- egin. There on the coach's bench sat Virginia Simms who had brought her team to the Natio- nal Meet. As jackie leaned forward to call Virginia, the scene changed and there was the stage of the Metropolitan Opera in New York City. A soloist stood before the audience, and as the s- ong rang out there was no doubt but that Bette Hutzel had indeed gone far in her career. B- ut the strain of many concerts was too much and she collapsed. In response to a call sent to General Hospital an ambulance arrived and an interne and nurse took charge. The nurse glanced out over the audience as she left the stage and as her brown eyes met jackie' a hg recognized her as jeanne Osborn, another of the 1946 graduates. The next and last change of scene brought Veryl Hammond into view. In the aristocratic section of Conrad he had established a Beauty Salon, where his twenty trained employees n- ever had a slack moment due to the perfect work he required of them. Turning back to Donna, john thanked her for permitting him to see again, if only for a few moments, his beloved classmates.
