Page Eighteen Senior History , When the Class of '20 assembled for their first day in Conrad High School, the members num- bered sixteen and a few Sophomores were iaking extra studies with us. At the end of the second year we saw tha number had diminished somewhat, because t our SOITIS finding they were of the Freshman standarli and some having moved away. Our Sophomore year was disturbed by the our Manual Training teacher having been war, alled to the colors, the remaining classes were d vided among the other teachers which caused a ange in the class. Toward the end of the ye r the study of German was taken from the cour e and the class had but three studies for the rem inder of the year. When Juniors, we had a class of two boys and eight girls. T. J. Roemer having taken school work in Waterloo and James W1 moved to a farm near Dolliver. p his tkins During the year we had many social actvities the most important of which was the Jlmior- Senior banquet at the close of the year. When We finally assumed the name of Seniors we numbered but nine. Our two only boys left us for a brief tinle this year but they are with us again and we tru. t that all of the members will finish together. I
