He will resume his Work at Iowa City where he expects to finish his course this summer. Mr. Payseur, of Des Moines, will take his place. Miss Edna O. Miller, our principal, has been with us for two years and she is very well liked by all. Her subjects are math- ematics and Latin, which she teaches in a manner that makes it much easier for the students. We hope that Miss Miller will be with us next year because of her interest in us and our work. Miss Eloise Jackson, has finally succeeded in teaching the girls of her Domestic Science classes how to prepare a thous- and dollar meal with ten dollar material. There are twenty- four members of the Domestic Science .Classes but Miss Jackson has been able to give each one the necessary time and attention. Miss Olive Cooledge, has made a great change in the English used by the High School, through her efforts in Composition, Rhetoric, Literature and Grammar. Miss Cooledge has also trained the characters for the two act farce 'Polly Lou. Miss Ethel Johnson, the Grammar Room teacher, has charge of the Boys 'and Girls' Glee Clubs. She also leads the singing in assembly and her help in music is much appreciated by the school. The characters in the operetta Yokahoma Maid were put into training by her. l 2 Page Six
