competition in the d.c.s.l. although in many circumstances the lack of varsity experience proved a stumbling block, the bulldogs conducted themselves ad- mirably throughout the season, they displayed a marked improvement in team spirit as the season progressed, in the semi-finalist competition for the class b championship, beacon gave a remarkable performance, like that which they were noted for in years past, this victory enabled them tocompete in the finalist competition at the westchester county center, where they were overcome by a tremendous effort on the part of the valhalla offense. all in all, the beacon bulldogs once again demonstrated to fans throughout the area that they are not a team to be reckoned with, past opponents will testify to the fact that al- though you can defeat a team, you can’t defeat a tradition, beacon will be back. j.v. basketball ski team and varsity basebal row 1 Stanley zmuszinski, ran- dy adams, tom greene, coach petrocine. row 2 ralph steffan- ci,
