I ' CLASS PROPHECY A .u N f l penthouse suite in New york City, watching with much y I keen interest a'basketbaIlgame on television I noticed a substitute coming on the floor, he looked very fa miler , Y So I called the manager of the hotel, TOM FOEJLILR, and I I told him Isaw KEITH MILLER playing professional basket ball with the nJustus Ll1l6S ' After the game had fin ' ished, Tom and I sat around talking about old times and declded that the next day we would set out to find what the rest of our classmates were doing Earlythenextmornlng Tom and I found Keith sleep ing lazily in hls apartment We told him about our plans to find out what our classmates were doing Keith said he would like very much to JOIN us but he had a lmportant game comlng up wlth the S oketown Smokers So Tom and I went merrily on our way As we boarded the plane to fly back to Beach City who was there to oursuprise but ORA LEW PENROD asthe.A1rline Hostess' We told her about our plans and asked her if she could g ve us any information about the Old Forty n1ner's Shetoldus that ALLAN YODER was teachlng first grade in Chlcago We were kept very comfortable on our journey due to the help of Dora Lee Arriving at the Akron Airport about mid afternoon, we decided to go downtown to eatlunch As Tom and I were valkmng dovn the street lookingfTu'alikely place to eat,we saw a sign, 'Ruby's Dlnette ' lhe name sounded famillar so N6 went ln, and sure enough we found RUBY LANG flippang hamburgers After the rush she came over and sat at our table It seems Ruby had started as a waitres and soon had saved enough to buy a place of her own Ruby told us law, and her brother, Ernle Lang, are the owners of a horse ranch near Louisville, Kentucky We got aboard a bus at the Akron ierm nal for the 'old home town and soon we vere in Beach City The old town had taken ona.new face, al o some new stores As we flrst entered the business d1str1ct, a big sign confronted us, Come to Border's to yyour supporters It was clowny IEAN BORDER with one of hvscorney sayings W Els: il fNC Ny!!
