PHYSICAL SCIENCE DEPARTMENT Chairman- Dr. Arthur Greenstone Chemistry The aspiring chemist has an extensive course of study open to him at Bayside. A new advanced chemistry course, which enables the student to do Work on the col- lege level, has been added to the program. Physics students learn to understand the rudiments of basic machines, the actions of various forces on objects, and the laws governing the universe. Recently introduced has been the Radio-Physics course which deals with both radio and advanced electronics. The phenomena of Weather and geology are given great attention in the courses in earth science. Special emphasis is given to the nature of our solar system in relation to the universe.
