These remarks have a familiar ring in Hoorn C-5, the press room of the “Beacon”, our high school newspaper. During free periods, after school, and on the night before the publication of each of the eight papers issued in a school year, the staff members work on articles and on newspaper makeup to insure journalistic excellence in “The Beacon”. The staff was signally honored by the C.S.P.A.'s selection of five Bayonne delegates from among 3500 national delegates at the March Convention in New York, to interview District Attorney Hogan of New York, and to w rite a convention release for the United Press.
