Baylor niversity 1845 - 1963 Upon graduation a world lies at our feet waiting impatiently for our spoken word and all tasks at hand will he accomplished. Each graduate vontains a volume of knowledge. And now our lives really lvegin. For four years we have worked, and at times we have toiled with our problems, homework and friends. There was a period of time when we knew everything. But that quickly passed away. Suddenly upon graduation everything was out of focus, the world was rushing toward us and we were frightened. Only then did we regret that we never aveomplished quite what we should have. Baylor was a light for us, hut until then. we never understood it. Wie thought it showed the way for us to go. Instead. it only reflected a path. Wye rejeeted it. it was too bright. hut it grew more fervent. And when we finally Came to understand it. it was time to go. 'lihen we stopped. Four years, no, not wasted. Had it not taught us to think. to care and to love? 'lihese are the keys. The major step was learning to think. Hut to think one must vare.
