N ORDER to pay our hu1nble respect to a man whose lovable Chris- tian character, whose wisdom and native wit, and whose pene- trating philosophy have left an indelible imprint on the lives of thousands who have passed through Baylor's portals, and in the hope that his presence may soon be restored to us, we, the staff of the 1937 ROUND-UP, affectionately dedicate this yearbook to jefferson Vllhitheld Harrell, professor of mathematics. Professor Harrell combines teaching-skill with a keen insight into student spirit. ln the classroom, on the campus, in his Sunday School class, he has lived a constant interpretation of Christian principles and fellowship, winning respect and love from students and faculty alike.
