MAYNARD SEAMAN . . . was born in Onida, South Dakota, November 11, 1929. After he graduated as Salutatorian from Onida High School in 1947, he attended Wheaton College and the University of South Dakota, reeciving his B.A. in 1952. He began his formal medical education at the University of South Dakota Medical School and was graduated with a B.S. in Medical Science in 1954. Q Coming to Baylor Med. as a junior, Maynard joined the ' Alpha Kappa Kappa Medical Fraternity and is active in ' the BSU. The medical mission field in Nepal is his ultimate aim after internship at Akron General Hospital in Akron, Ohio. W. .X DONALD WAYNE SELLERS . . . was born in Abilene, Texas, on July 15, 1928, and was graduated as a scholar from Wylie High School there. ft. At Abilene Christian College where his undergraduate work was done, Don was a member of Alpha Chi National Scholastic Society. He received his B.S. in Chemistry Magna QIQ-... 1 Cum Laude in 1950. On entering Baylor Med. in 1952, he pledged Phi Beta Pi Medical Fraternity. His calm assurance will stand him in good stead when he enters General Practice'after internship at Memorial Hospital in Elmhurst, Illinois. - - .-.iEL?., JOHN ROBERT STRAWN . . . ' was born in Big Spring, Texas, February 3, 1931. The sand blew his family to Houston, and he was graduated from Lamar High School in 1949. ag., The Rice Institute occupied him for the next three years, and the roots of a scholar were founded. On entering Baylor Med. in 1952, Bob pledged Alpha Kappa Kappa Medical Fraternity and was accepted into the E- Osler Society. In 1955 he was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Scholastic Society. Bob and Martha Hodge were married in 1953. F Internship will be at the University of Pennsylvania ji Hospital in Philadelphiag which will prepare him for the field of Internal Medicine and Research. ttxt Q

V , 1 R,- A. J. RYAN. .. jack was born in Falfurrias, Texas, july 17, 1928. but now calls Houston his home. After graduation from Fal- furrias High School he entered Texas A84M College where he was active in the campus musical organizations. After receiving a B.S. degree he worked two years for the Mag- nolia Petroleum Company and then entered Baylor Uni- versity to finish his pre-medical courses. jack boasts the shortest service record in the history of the USAF-90 days in all, and received his discharge in 1952. He is a member of Phi Beta Pi medical fraternity and is interested in high fidelity and piano music as hobbies. Following internship at Hermann Hospital he plans a dermatology residency and wants to practice this specialty in Houston. WILL G. RYAN . . . Will was born in Falfurrias, Texas, on August 1, 1932, and graduated from Falfurrias High School in 1949. He at- tended Texas A8cI from 1949 to 1950 and then Texas University from 1950 to 1952. He is unmarried. He is the brother of jack Ryan, also a member of the class of 1956. At Baylor Med. he has been a member of Phi Beta Pi Fraternity and Osler Society. He attended Bordentown Military In- stitute in Bordentown, New jersey, 1941-1946, graduating as Salutatorian of his Senior Class. After four years at the University of Pennsylvania he graduated in 1950 with an A.B. degree, having won honors in Zoology. Following this, from 1950-1952, he served in the U. S. Infantry. Here at Baylor Med. he has been a member of Phi Delta Epsilon Fraternity and the Osler Society. As for the future Marvin will go to Mt. Zion Hospital for internship and plans to follow up with a residency in Ophthalmology. He is single.

s' 5., NIC E. TENGG . . . Nic was born in San Antonio, Texas, December 20, 1930, but four years later moved to his present home in Houston. Following graduation from Lamar High School he attended Texas University for two and a half years and then trans- ferred to Southwest Texas State College at San Marcos where he received a B.S. degree in Biological Sciences. He was a member of Theta Xi fraternity, Alpha Chi honor society and was an avid golfer with the varsity teams of both schools. Nic and Nelline jones were married july, 1955. I- A Following internship at jefferson Davis Hospital he plans I to take a pediatric residency and then practice pediatrics ie in some small Texas town. t 4 l LEE LYMAN DEWEY TUTTLE, JR .... Lee was born in Houston on january 26, 1931, the son of Dr. and Mrs. L. L. D. Tuttle. He graduated from Kin- kaid High School in Houston in 1949. He attended Dart- mouth College from 1949 to 1952. He was a member of Dartmouth Mountaineering Club. At Baylor Med. he has been a member of Phi Chi Medical Fraternity and President of his Sophomore Class. He was married in june, 1954, to jean Griffey. They have a son. L. L. D. Tuttle III. His internship at Colorado General Hospital in Denver will be followed by a residency in surgery. MARY VOORHESS . . . Mary was born in Livingston Manor, New York, on june 2, 1926, and graduated from high school there in 1943. Mary received her Registered Nurse's degree from City Hospital, Binghampton, New York, in 1946. Following two years at Columbia University, Mary attended the Uni- versity of Texas, where she received her B.A. degree. Among college honors, Mary lists membership in Alpha Epsilon Delta, Alpha Lambda Delta, Iota Sigma Pi, and Phi Beta Kappa. A member of Alpha Epsilon Iota Medical Fraternity. Mary served as secretary and vice president. She was also Class Secretary her Sophomore, junior, and Senior years at Baylor. She is also AOA. . After internship at Albany Hospital, Albany, New York, Mary plans to enter Pediatrics. Q
