LECLAIRE LESLIE . . . LeClaire was born in San Antonio, Texas, on Nov. 22, 1925. San Antonio is still her home. She graduated from Jefferson High School in 1945. She then attended Incarnate Word College and Trinity University from 1943 to 1945. She entered Laboratory Technicians Training at the Nix Hospital Laboratories in 1945. From 1946 to 1952 she was Chief Technician of the Laboratories of the Nix Hospital. At Baylor Med. she has been a member of Alpha Epsilon Iota Women's Medical Fraternity, Secretary of Class and President of AEI. Her internship will be at jefferson Davis Hospital. She plans a residency in Pediatrics. I fi K X gig, -. -,L h ' 'an ll 2 yi x E5 a Z 1 KINGSLEY MCHENRY, JR .... Kingsley McHenry was born in Houston, Texas, on October 24, 1926. He graduated from Lamar High School of Houston in 1943 and entered University of Texas that fall. He served in the U. S. Army from 1945-1946 and then returned to University of Texas, from where he graduated in 1948 with a B.A. degree. He was a member of SAE, social fraternity. He entered Medical School in 1948 but had to drop out because of illness from 1951-55. While awaiting return to Medical School he studied Law at University of Texas 1955-1954. He has been a member of Phi Beta Pi Medical Fraternity. Plans are to complete work on his Law Degree in January, 1957, and then enter his internship. Later plans to practice Dermatology and Medical Law. FABER FRANCIS MCMULLEN . . . Faber was born july 20, 1929, in Houston. He graduated from Santa Anna High School in California in 1946. He entered the Marine Corps in 1946 and was discharged in 1949 with rank of Sergeant. He attended Baylor University from 1949 to 1952 and graduated after one year of Med. school with B.S. degree in Medical Sciences. He was a mem- ber of Alpha Epsilon Delta pre-med honorary and Beta Beta Beta Biological Honorary, At Baylor Med., he has been a member of Osler Society and program chairman of BSU. He was married March 15, 1952, to Roxanna Connally. They have two children, His internship will be at Herrman Hospital. After some residency training, he plans a general practice in East Texas. At Drury College in Missouri he was a member of Kappa Alpha Order, serving as social and scholastic chair- mang Young Democrats, serving as president, and Beta Beta Beta. He graduated from Drury with a B.A. degree. At Baylor Med. George is a member of Phi Beta Pi, of which he was Rush Chairman in 1954. He is also active in Osler Society. George and Shirley Roper were married in 1954. They have one daughter. Although July, 1956, will see him beginning his intern- ship at U. S. Naval Hospital in Great Lakes, further plans are undecided. SAM ARNOLD KINARD, JR .... was born on February 4, 1951, in Sumerfield, Union Parish, Louisiana. At Baylor University in Waco Sam was a member of Beta Beta Beta and Alpha Epsilon Delta. He was gradu- ated from Baylor in 1952-with a B.A. degree. 'C' Sam is a member of Alpha Kappa Kappa Medical Fra- ternity. His junior year at Baylor University College of Medicine, he was awarded a Research Fellow in Internal Medicine. Following internship at Jefferson Davis Hospital, Sam plans to do a residency and then to specialize in Internal- Medicine. JERRY M. KNUDSEN . . . was born in Edgeley, North Dakota, June 29, 1927. After graduation from Edgeley Public Schools, he spent two years in the U. S. Navy as a member of the hospital corps. Following his discharge from the service Jerry enrolled at the University of North Dakota where he played varsity football as a halfback and was a member of Sigma Nu Fraternity. Jerry was married to Leila Thorgrensen and they have three boys. Upon completion of his B.S., he enrolled in the Univer- sity of North Dakota Medical School, and in 1954 came to Baylor Med. as a junior. He is a member of Phi Beta Pi. Jerry will intern at Ancker Hospital in St. Paul, Minne- sota. He plans to do general practice. its

field. LAWRENCE DUWAYNE MITCHELL . . . was born in Henderson, Kentucky, February 23, 1925. He was graduated from High School in his home town of Huntsville in 1942 and then spent a year at Sam Hous- ton State Teachers College there. The Navy claimed him for three years, and after dis- charge he was married to Betty jo Swift. They have one son. In 1948 he received a B.B.A. from Sam Houston and did graduate work there for two more years. He then went on to the University of Texas from which he re- ceived his B.A. in 1952. At BUCM Mitch was a member of Phi Chi Medical Fraternity. He will intern at the Baptist Hospital in Nash- ville, Tennessee, and eventually plans to enter General Practice. w l it JASPER LEWIS MCPHAIL . . . was born in Slate Spring, Mississippi, December 50, 1930. In 1948 he entered Clarke Memorial College where he received the Most Outstanding Athlete Award and was graduated as Valedictorian of his class in 1950. The next two years were spent at Mississippi College where he was editor of the school paper, and, among other honors, received the Aven Scholarship Award. He received his B.S. Magna Cum Laude in 1952. At BUCM he was AKK and served as House Manager in 1953. He was President of BSU in 1955-1956. He will intern at University Hospital, jackson, Missis- sippi. He eventually plans to enter the medical mission H-1-J-If 'i THOMAS R. MOFFETT . . . , was born june 23, 1953, in Center, Texas, and graduated . from high school there in 1950. Tom attended Baylor University from 1950 to 1952 and earned enough hours to be awarded his B.S. degree in Medical Sciences after one year at medical school. He was a member of Alpha Epsilon Delta pre-medical honor society. At Baylor Med. Tom has been a member of Alpha Kappa Kappa Fraternity. 1 QW 'XM On August 13, 1955, he was married to Jean Marrow of l it t'ii H Houston. P - After internship at Hermann Hospital Tom plans to enter general practice.
