H. FIELDING FROMBERG . . . was born on February 15, 1950, in Kansas City, Missouri, which he still considers his home town. After graduation from the Shawnee Mission High School at Merriam, Kansas, he attended the University of Kansas at Lawrence. Fielding entered Baylor Med. in 1952 and became a member of Phi Beta Pi. He was treasurer of that organiza- tion his sophomore year. In 1953 he was married to Flossie Collie, and together they have continued his hobbies of photography, flying, and woodworking. Fielding will intern at Methodist Hospital in Houston, after which he will consider anesthesiology as his specialty. 1 L.. l. . ,..W- . 1-at ..... -- iw- -- y,,.. . H ' 3 WILLIAM GERSTEIN . . . was born December 25, 1930, in Montreal, Quebec, -we-ff t . l l THOMAS H. GEMOETS . . . was born in Houston, September 30, 1950, and graduated from Lamar High School in 1948. I-Ie attended the University of Texas where he was a member of Sigma Chi Fraternity, and completed his B.S. degree requirements at the University of Houston. He was president of the Texas Academy of Science. At Baylor Med. Tom was a member of Alpha Kappa Kappa and served on the Executive Committee. An out- standing scholar, he was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Fraternity and served as president of that organiza- tion. After internship at jefferson Davis Hospital Tom plans to take a residency in internal medicine. Canada, and calls Montreal and Tyler, Texas, his home towns. He was graduated from Baron Byng High School in 1947. At McGill University Bill won First class honors in Biological Sciences and graduated with a B.S. degree in 1951. Pursuing his career as a research scientist at the Bio- chemical Institute at the University of Texas occupied him prior to entering Baylor Med. At Baylor Bill is a member of Phi Delta Epsilon and Osler Society. His honors include receipt of the Phi Chi Scholarship Award and membership in Alpha Omega Alpha. Internship at Montreal General Hospital in Canada and resident work separate him from the practice of Internal Medicine. in 1

He graduated from Abilene Public Schools in 1948. Bobby Jack attended Vanderbilt University, where he was a member of Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity. He was awarded his B.A. degree from Vanderbilt in 1952. At Baylor Med. Phi Chi is his fraternal affiliation. Bobby jack was married to Lale Murrey in 1953 and they have one son. After internship at Jefferson Davis Hospital he eventually plans to do general practice in Texas. I X ,MY . s '4 , WILLIAM H. FANCHER . . . was born in Carthage, Mississippi, April 26, 1931. He finished Louisville High School in his hometown of Louis- 1 ville, Mississippi. At Mississippi College in Clinton, Bill majored in Zoology and Chemistry and received his B.S. degree in 1952. While at Mississippi College he was a member of the Debate Team, Photographic Society, and President of Hermenian Literary Society. At Baylor Med., Bill is a member of Alpha Kappa Kappa Medical Fraternity and Baptist Student Union. Bill was married to Jeanne Fancher in 1951. They have two daughters. His plans for the future include internship at Baptist Hospital, Nashville, Tennessee, and General Practice in Mississippi. ini WILLIAM C. FRANKLIN . . . was born in Center, Texas, on June 50, 1952. Although he was graduated from Alamo Heights High School in San Antonio, Corpus Christi is his present home town. Bill's preparatory work for medical school took place at Baylor University in Waco from 1949-1952. At Baylor Med. he has been a member of Phi Chi Medical Fraternity. Following his internship at St. Louis City Hospital, St. Louis, Missouri, Bill plans a residency and specialty prac- tice in internal medicine. lr

if 5 in-q..,f EFRAIM AARON GONZALES, JR .... was born in San Antonio, Texas, january 2, 1929. His home town is Hidalgo. Texas. He graduated McAllen High School and entered Texas ARM, where he later did graduate work in biochemistry. He was in the ROTC. Singing Cadets, and the Texas Academy of Science. and received his B.S. degree in 1952. Fraternity. children. JAMES MITCHELL GRAY, JR .... was born in New York City on February 3, 1932. His home town is now Houston, where he was graduated from San Jacinto High School in 1949. At Baylor University jimmey majored in English Lang- uages and Literature. He was a member of Sigma Tau Delta English Honor Society, Phi Mu Alpha Honorary Music Fraternity, Beta Beta Beta, Alpha Chi Scholastic So- ciety, and Alpha Epsilon Delta Pre-medical Society. He re- ceived his B.A. degree Cum Laude. While at Baylor Med. Jimmey has been a member of Alpha Kappa Kappa and Baptist Student Union. His future plans include an internship at Cook County Hospital in Chicago. 1 EUGENE BRYAN GREGORY . . . Efraim spent three years in the U. S. After entering Baylor University at Waco, Gene was a member of Psi Chi, FFB, and the Baylor Band. He re- ceived his B.A. degree from Baylor and continued his work there for his Masters until 1952. Since coming to Baylor Med. Gene has become a member of Phi Chi Medical Fraternity and the Baptist Student His plans for the future are to be married in June, 1956, to intern with the U. S.
