KATHERINE CAMPBELL No other single person is more completely identified with Baylor University College of Medicine than is this one. Born and reared in Galveston, Texas, she was the wife of Dr. Walter D. Campbell, who gave his life while serving in the Air Corps in 1945. In july of that year Baylor moved to Houston and Mrs. Campbell joined the staff as secretary in the Dean's office. Since that time Baylor has changed immeasurably: her title has changed and her office has moved. Alterations have taken form in every aspect of Baylor lifeg many student generations have come and gone. But one fact has not changed-and is best summed up in the oft heard remark, Mrs, Campbell will know. She is always available, always has time to listeng the student soon feels that he is her business. She is ever gracious and sincere. We feel that these capable hands have in large measure shaped the present and will help mold the future of our beloved school. To one who has dedicated herself to us, we gratefully dedicate the 1956 AESCULA- PIAN.
