Olser meets once a month for lectures by faculty members, students, and guests on phases of medical history, and on some current developments in medicine throughout the world. The society has also begun an excellent collection of rare books on phases of medical history. Membership in the society is available for those most interested. DON LAZARZ In the fall of 1955 the Baylor Catholic Stu- dent Union was organized to review with the Catholic students the correlation between the ethics of the medical profession and that of their Catholic Faith. The monthly meetings are open to medical and dental students of all denominations, to the nursing profession, to the interns and residents staffing the Houston hospitals.
