Olser meets once a month for lectures by faculty members, students, and guests on phases of medical history, and on some current developments in medicine throughout the world. The society has also begun an excellent collection of rare books on phases of medical history. Membership in the society is available for those most interested. WALLACE Alpha Omega Alpha is a non-secret Medical College Honor Society with membership based on scholarship and moral qualifications. It was organized in 1902 with definite mission of encouraging personal honesty and the spirit of medical research. The Beta of Texas Chapter at Baylor University College of Medicine was established in 1949. A maximum of fifteen percent of each class may be selected for membership.
