I-IE Faculty, last September, 1930, agreed that we had in us the makings of a successful class, and we have worked earnestly to live up to the high standard set for us by our teachers. We hope we have not disappointed them. Confronted early with Geometry and Spanish, we realized the troubles of a Sophomore class but we studied, and finally mastered the subjects which had seemed so hard to understand. The proverb, All work and no play, etc.,,' cannot be applied to us. Many of our large band of thirty-nine took an active part in the sports, and the rest of us gave them our hearty support. We cheered for each battle won, and smiled encouragement at each defeat. Our boys have representatives on the Varsity basketball and football teams, our girls will be excellent material for the next Girls' Varsity Basketball team. After mid-year examinations the time passed quickly. Spring came and went. Now again, examinations are facing us. On to the fray, for: Oh, we ain,t got a barrel of knowledge Maybe we'll never reach college But we wander along, singing our song. Side by side. Don't know what's coming tomorrow Maybe it's failure and sorrow, But we'll wander along, singing our song, Side by side. ,,.. 83 , ,, , .
