He excels in all his studies, chiefly Chem- istry, in which he leads the class. Tom is very fond of this subject and we be- lieve that he will continue the study of it when he leaves Bayley. VV'ell, all we can say, is that we hope you will soon correct this serious ,I mistake on your part, for, until you have met Mike, you cannot understand what real wit is. If he is in the humor, and he usually is, he can drive away all your cares in spite of yourself. In the back of the room, where he presides, he is usually the center of a laughing group of students. However, this is not his only distinction for he has always been a first-class student and a loyal worker for the school and the class. He has followed our teams and cheered them, whether in defeat or in victory.
