The class of '28, not a whit behind in this regard, points out with honest pride to this charming young lady as one of its shining lights. For four years Helen has been a leader in the social activities of the class. Though inclined to be quiet, she is a staunch supporter of the Purple and Gold and can always be relied upon for support in any activity. During his four years in High, Pope has made a name for himself as a first-class student and an excellent basketball player. He has been center on the team for two seasons. We should like also to say one more thing concerning George and that is the fact that he was Chairman of the class for two years and Business Manager of The Annual this year, showing that he is popular.
