The class of '28, not a whit behind in this regard, points out with honest pride to this charming young lady as one of its shining lights. For four years Helen has been a leader in the social activities of the class. Though inclined to be quiet, she is a staunch supporter of the Purple and Gold and can always be relied upon for support in any activity. He showed us in his last year what he was capable of doing, for he was elected Treasurer of the Boys' A. A. and succeeded in making the Basketball Team. Midgie,' has been voted the most mischievous boy as he no sooner gets out of one scrape than he is into another, as a result of his always waiting to play a trick on someone. School work has always been his least worry, much to the chagrin of the Faculty, who, try as they would, could not alter john's opinion where schoolwork was concerned. He always has a ready answer. sometimes a rather startling one to any question put to him. XYhen a Senior, he made the Varsity Team and was elected Chair- man of the Hoys' Athletic Association.
