She played guard on the Varsity team for two years and well deserved the position as she prevented her opponents from scoring against Bayley many times. Yes, we certainly will miss El when she leaves as she has made many friends among us. This fact. that she makes friends readily, will certainly be an asset to her in the future. His good nature makes him the subject of many wise-cracks, the victim of practical jokes and the recipient of many buffets. But they affect Jimmie no more than water affects a duck's back. He has shown his ability as a manager by arranging an excellent baseball schedule for the coming year. Basketball appeals to Shamie but We are told that his favorite sport consists in hammering the typewriter, a very practical kind of activity. XV e are sure that some day Jimmie will hold an important place in the business world because of the practice which he had during his course in High School. Thirty

Because of the etlicient manner in which he captained the Basketball Team, it was able for the first ti1ne to enter a state tournament. Besides basketball, Joe has also taken great interest in other athletics. Joe, together wih some of our other young athletes, contributes greatly towards taking the gloom out of some periods, especially one which is known to all of us. His jovial manners and good nature have Won for him many friends. Some day We expect to hear great things about sloe in the athletic world and we are sure that he will continue to take an interest in Bayley sports so that the goal for which his team has striven will be attained in future.
