1928 TH6 v3AY.C61' QANNUAL 1928 W' law .IAM ES VINCENT COSTANZO Class Basketball, 2, 3, 4 Class Baseball, 1, 2, 3 Class Track Team. 1. 3 Dance Committee, 3. 4 lintertainment Committee, 3 IMMY is one of the few serious-minded boys of his class,-for, no matter what the thing may be.-a lesson, a game, or a case in court, jimmy puts his whole heart and soul into it, usually with the result that he comes out on top. He excels in typewriting and shorthand, and is one of our best Spanish students. Always loyal, he has never failed when anything has to be done for the class. He has an innate determination to get to the bottom of everything, a trait which will be a great help to him in the business which he undertakes. :Ns to this business, we are sure that. as his father's successor, he will be one of the town's big mer- chants in a few years. C., 3, 4 ARY joined us in second year and immediately set a new high standard of scholarship for us to emulate. XVe have striven in vain. however, for she has met and vanquished all opposition and now ranks at the head of the class. She is our star typist and hardest worker, as you will find, if you look in our Hall of Fame. She has had quite some experience as a financier for it has been her unenviable task to collect in numerous ca- pacities from the class. The fact that she has succeeded, speaks volumes for her extraordinary ability in this capacity. XVe have heard vague reports of an offer to be private secretary to the manager of a large firm in this vicinity. Let us hope that she will make as big a success of it as she has made of her school tasks. XYe are certain that she will. Twenty -five

Sometimes in the midst of a lecture, we can hear a giggle and without looking around we know indisputably that it is none other than jo who finds it impossible to be quiet for any length of time. But this does not mean that she neglects her studies because she is efficient in everything she undertakes. A smile for everyone seems to be her policy and, in some mysterious manner or other, she manages to get along with everyone and never seems to be in trouble. Such a disposition, to live in peace with one's fellow beings, should prove a valuable asset to Io in future years if she follows out her plans to become a school teacher. Twenty-seven
