This gala event entitled HA Flower, A Fountain, A Flame' was held in the Boulevard Room of the Sheraton-Jefferson Hotel. The necessary funds were raised by selling Christmas cards. However, the scholastic face was not forgotten. Ranking high in academic standings, juniors excelled particularly in the fields of history and literature. They added eleven new members to the Na- tional Honor Society. The future seniors also contributed generously in the various varsity sports and intramurals programs. unlor class ofhcers and chairman sponsor .lim Martin, president, Kathy Hihn tire president, Pam Eirich, secretary, .ludy Mullins, treasurerg Mr. Busch.
