Class History This is Sergeant Friday reporting on the case of the class of 1955 It was a warm sunny day in August in l9h2 when Q7 little outlaws were brought into custody of Mrs Edward Anderson to start on their 13 year sentence in this institution Their names are as follows Rlchard Appenzeller, Jeanette Bride son, Billy Caraher, Freddie Christensen, Crystal Cradick, Tommy Crois Jerry Dillavou, Mary Katherine Gilley, Kay Falligan, Sheila Hlckey, Carl Hoit, Gene Kraft, Jenith Marchant, Joyce Miller, Blaine Moylan, Kathleen Moylan, Eugene Phelps, Ralph Phelps, Thelma Phelps, Violet Pierce, William Raymond, Geraldine Richie, Janet Rae Rosenbladt, Mary Jane Stroud, Larry Theulan, Evelyn Nickel, and Peggy Hartman Shirley Brannan, Rosemary Blanchard, and Marilyn Vanden Brink were sentenced January, l9N3, to serve their term w1th u Those paroled were Crystal Cradick, Gene Kraft, Geraldine Richie, Larry Theulan, Peggy Hartman, and Rosemary Blanchard By the time we had served one year of our sentence we had gained four more They were Marlene Fagen, Parris Hoyt, Jon Patrick, and Phyllis Vaughan Three were on good behavior and received their parole They were Kay Falligan, Mary Katherine Gilley, and Evelyn Nickel Our wa den for this year was still Mrs Fdward Anderson By the time we were ready to start the second year of the thir teen year sentence we were in the care of another person, Miss Fhrhardt vhirley Wailes and Mary Kathe ine Gilley came to join us in serving our sentence, thus making twenty two in our group At the beglnning of the third year we gained 5 more little outlaws They were Bobby Anderson, La Verne Cameron, Dale Coon, Duane Manor, and D vid Warren There were five who gained thelr parole They were Richard Apenzeller, Mary Katherine Gilley, Jozce Miller, Jon Patrlck, and David Warren Mrs Williams was our warden for this year The fourth year surelv must have been nuite 1 yegr as Seven more were brought ln to tart serving the1r sentence with us They were Eldon Powey, Philip Miller, Jim Vaughan, Walter Pohl, Richard Nhite, and Shirley Stratton Our warden for this year was Miss Fthel Bower Boozell, James Rockwell, Arthella Ohm, Jerry Holliday, Marcella Magoon, Barbara Compton, Nell Br an, and Lynn Monthei with us in our cell Mrs Frances Schreck was our new warden for thls year During the fear five more received their parole They were Blaine Movlan, James Rockwell, hfrlev Stratton, Jeanette Bri'eson, and Vincent Boozell There were now thirty one ln our group The sivth year founo us under the vu1d1nce of still another new warden, Miss Marie Betts No one seemed to be on very good behavior as no one received parole Four more were sentenced to spend their time with us though They were Dav1d very, Lois Gehling, Audrie Permanson, and Eddie Feenev de found Mrs Beatrlce Gripp as our new warden for the seventh year Delmar Clipperton, Shirley Stratton end Dennis McCool joined us but we lost Jenith Marchant and Shirle Stratton during the vear We now had thirt s1x le t to inish up their sentence 6 ' 0 I . 1 ' s. - ,.
