Q-S se6ii'oiomAvj-S -- GIRL SCOUTS The Girl Scouts Troop No. 1 of Bayard was organized in November, l929. At this time about 14 girls joined the troop. During the summer the girls enjoyed a two day outing at Spring Lake sponsored by Mrs. jerry Hol- liday. In the fall the troop was reorganized. New members were added and at the present time the troop has ten Second Class Girl Scouts and twenty Tenderfoot Girls. The Scouts have their meeting every Tuesday. They have had several popcorn and candy sales.. In the spring and fall when the weather is good they go on hikes on Saturday.
