make a IoT oT noise so ThaT we could escape The wraTh oT The Teacher SweeT man he did Too' AnoTher evenT ThaT gave me pleasure was The vis1T ThaT Vic Damone paid To our school The gurls were so Thrllled and exciTed ThaT They nearly Tell oTT The balcony and when he sang Those wonderful songs every hearT beaT a IiTTIe TasTer Oh This is one of The Things ThaT makes IuTe bearablel I remember The Tear I experienced Though when I saw The lumber piled in The Senior Garden I hoped we wouIdnT lnheriT ThaT lumber yard My Tears were unTounded however and when I IeTT The school Tor The summer vacaTion I knew ThaT when I came back In The Tall The building would be The mosT beauTaTuI in The ciTy IT really came True Too' BARBARA PRICE AT IasT aT long IasT I reached Grade 5 only To discover ThaT I was considered The Treshman oT The morning session and was meT aT every Turn wlTh glaring Senior and Grade 7 puns Now I came To school by Tlash IighT and Toghorn insTead oT going home ThaT way and among oTher abuses was Torced To wear a suiT oT armor To combaT The Talling pIasTer oT modernuzahon I-Iowever I bore IT all wuTh a brave hearT Tor There were many evenTs To keep me occupied and my Troubles were overcome Every hearT beaT TasTer when Ten oT The male chorus members Trom Champlain College sang aT Bay Ridge To recrulT cand1daTes Tor Cham To hop on her I1TTIe red wagon and enroll aT Champlain Then came The long To be remembered never To be TorgoTTen Turkey Rall The Tech Bay Ridge roller skaTlng parTy when our dear old broTher school sToIe our hearTs away and TuTure prom balT began To be sTored up The climax oT Grade 5 was our ChrlsTmas Bazaar which TeaTured penny a peep shops and booThs Trom every deparTmenT in The school IT was Tremendous success along wmTh The Triple FeaTure Shop held The same nrghT Remember The Tlve man quarTeT oT TacuITy members7 WnTh The coming oT Grade 6 some oT our exTra curricular acTlviT1es were resTored We held a bug G O Dance chr1sTened The Bunny I-lop and The Term was really under way A large scale club sysTem was unsTiTuTed and we Tound ourselves enloyung diverse acTnvuTies every oTher week during assembly bell schedule The cream oT Grade 6 was Tapped Tor ArlsTa and They soon enTered The ranks oT our honor socieTy AnoTher successTuI skaTing parTy wiTh Tech was held The IasT big evenT in our Iunior year was The music TesTuvaI which com bined The eTTorTs oT The Choral Club and The OrchesTra WiTh anoTher seT oT RegenTs and Tunal marks behind me I IeTT Grade 6 wnTh banging hammers and Talllng Timber ringing In my ears, buT also w1Th Tond memories oT many Things learned and good Times enloyed by all RUTH CARLEN plain.
