HE BAY PATH way has come to mean the way of those who seek success. They journey this route until they see it shaping into a paved road, glistening mth truth and knowledge. Along this paved road, plod the juniors of Bay Path, en- countering uncertain underpasses, confusing cliffs, and dismaying ditches. But soon the road unex- pectedly winds 'round a bend, which holds learning and laughter for the future. By the end of the paved road, and thus the end of their junior year, these girls realize they have taken their Hrst step toward the super-highway of success. fi ,H ' IIII: 7 'L S., ,X ltlli0'C CALM QfficA6T.f IM mlfnl - Il IDI I II II:XYI', I 'I' Inf'-l'1fwrflwnl II XRII XR X IxI'I I N Sfffflflfx, fINXIII I I I' CIIII IIII I' 'lmffmfff Ix XXI, INRRIII, ,lflfmf XIR. We, as juniors, proved our worth that day at the rope pull, the peanut race, and the three-legged race. Everywhere there was a sea of faces, but everywhere there was a friendly atmosphere adding to our first and lasting impression of Bay Path. HARVEST HOP The First dance of our college days, the HARVEST HOP in October, 1954, was highlighted by an authentic backdrop of hay- stacks and scarecrows. Remember our astonishment when the scarecrows came to life at intermission? CHRISTMAS PLAY On December 15, 1954, the Christmas spirit captured Bay Path, and we, as juniors, presented our CHRISTMAS PLAY. Remember Santa Claus and mother - the dwarfs - Rudolf and the reindeer - the ice skaters? It was an outstanding performance climaxed by the song, White Christmas, sung in a variety of keys. A great success! LAKE PLACID March and our thoughts turned to skiis and Lake Placid. Rain followed us throughout the week end, but even though the skiing was not good, we had plenty of fun visiting the North Pole and just being at the Swiss Chalet. SYMPHONY IN SEA Driftwood and sea shells added the final touch to the SYMPHONY IN SEA, our unforgettable spring formal of 1955. Thoughts of gaiety and glamour will always accompany the memory of this exciting event in May, 1955, at Bay Path. SPRING FASHION SHOW june, 1954, brought the SPRING FASHION SHOW with a new and unique twist. Our lovely models had thi-ir attire shown to full advantage in three Jaguars, adding glamour and sophistication to an outstanding show. 1. . ' 1 Af 5 fxnu ' 'I '--, x ? ELIZABETH ARDEN DAY An annual affair, ELIZABETH ARDEN DAY, came in November, 1955. Helpful hints were given on hair styles, make-up, and correct posture. The lively exercise director from Denmark was a popular figure who added much to the enjoyment of the day. LITTLE BIT OF HEAVEN A LITTLE BIT OF HEAVEN and a lot of soft music outlined the first fonnal of our senior year, on December 3, 1955 - one of the most successful dances of our two years at Bay Path. CHRISTMAS PARTY AT DEEPWOOD Christmas came and spirits ran high. A party at Deepwood was the forerunner to our Christmas vacation. Our newly formed Choir provided us with entertainment - Santa almost groaned under his load of gifts - and the refreshments were delicious. What more could we ask at such a happy time of year? VALENTINE DANCE The enthusiastic and wholehearted co-operation of everyone con- cerned - plus a beautifully-decorated hall and soft, dreamy music -- made our annual Valentine dance a memorable occasion. GRADUATION Finally the big day arrived and during our wonderful two years the Bay Pathway has been transformed into a modern highway. Our joumey was a difficult but rewarding one, and with great reluctance and happy memories, we leave Bay Path.
