Our Counselor aids students in planning their school subjects and in finding what they are best suited to do after graduation. She teaches vocations, one of the most popular classes in school. The Glee Club gives good pro- grams for the school on Thanks- giving and Christmas. Their school year is climaxed by their participation in the graduation ex- ercises. MRS. It is a good spot for research and study with its warm atmosphere and excellent resources in books. The Commercial De- partment develops the skills of the students in typing, bookkeeping, and shorthand. They, also have the opportunity to be members of the na- tional organization, Fu- ture Business Leaders of America.

The purpose of the B. H. S. English department is to provide courses in basic English grammar, composition, American and English literature. Of course, there is work in the journalism department on The Spotlight and The Yellow jacket. Junior and Senior students have the opportunity to participate in plays according to their abilities. MR. BRYAN L. SCHISLER Coach - Boys' P. E. Bay High School has one of the best Physical Education Depart- ments in this area. Folk dancing, games, basketball, baseball, and many activities keep the students busy. Our ball teams, The Yellow- jackets, led by our Coach, have stirred our school spirit.
