MR. WARREN O'DANIEL Sr. High Science Science is one of the most for- ward looking subjects taught in America. With a well founded knowledge of high school sci- ence a student cain easily ad- vance in college to other fields; but science will benefit every- one who takes it no matter what their aim. Our school's science courses are good and are well taught. MR. GLYNN HOPKINS Junior High Science Everyone who has taken the math courses offered at Bay High have dis- covered that their ability to reason has been greatly increased. This will help each individual no matter what his chosen field may be. Our Math Department is very good, with capable teachers and advanced subjects. Social Studies gives every- one a basic knowledge of their country's and the world’s histo- ry and government. This will prepare citizens for more con- scientious service to their own government. Mr. Van Fowler Sr. High Social Studies Mr. Elmer Haley Jr. High Social Studies Home Economics does much more than teach students to cook and sew, which they leam to do well. It prepares girls to make homes for fam- ilies and to cope with all man- ner of problems and situations which may arise. They are taught to budget, to plan, and also to entertain graciously.
