f' N Bay High was notifed that four of its students were designated as Commended Students in the 1984 National Merit Scholarship Program. Mr. Goodwin announced that Denise Barnes, Martin Berdon, Magda Elkadi, and Jane Hubbard placed in the top five percent of over one million participants in the 29th annual Merit Program. Each one demon- strated unusual academic promise and will be hon- ored with a Letter of Commendation. One of the most successful was the Christmas Program. The teachers, student body, and many guests were entertained by the P.A. singers and dancers, the band, and the choir.
