The 1984 school year at Bay High began like a tidal wave. Old friends re- joined and new faces met. Throughout the year, old friends and new acquaint- ances shared time together at lunch, in the classroom between classes, and at various school sponsored get-to- gethers . For the sophomores, this school year was the beginning of a jour- ney through high school life. As for the juniors - they are in the middle of deep waters, while the seniors have just passed through the eye of the storm to the calm seas of the life after gradu- ation. While all was not smooth sail- ing , it was a cruise to be remembered. wmmwwmwwswwmwtt wrwwwyywweswmwwwwvw ws New Q, M Q MW W T. ww-vmawaemsw-:wmfs One Two me-unusual Three Wwgytwwr--vwwwwmmw-+AmmewwmwwMww,muwmmwMwwmwwfmMss,w -A 2 r-3 Y Sf 23 3' 2 il E ve. Many people don't real- ize all the work that is put into being a Bay High Cheerleader. Along with the football players they have numerous practices that are very time con- suming. Head HOTUC EC- Ai. ., ,RA The 1983-84 Lunchroom Staff proudly presents the following poem to BHS as their recipe of life: My Recipe I have a recipe for life, The best one that I know, I guarantee the end result . . . T'was taught me long ago! You start by mixing just a dash Of humor with the day, And then you add a cherry smile As you go on your way. Love's never out of season So you add a large amount, And I never measure sympathy, You don't with things that count. Toss in a bit of effort And a lot of nerve and grit, And hope makes all the difference, You stir a bit of kindness in, Along with patience, too, And flavor it with gentleness Whatever you may do. For a thing improves with it. And when the sun is setting, you'II look back in joy to see A worthwhile product of your toil . .. Within my recipe!
