The G.A.A. is an organization designed for girls who desire to further their abilities in athletic activi- ties. The purpose of the club is to promote a spirit of fellowship among the girls who participate in the club. Good sportsmanship is practiced through competing in inter-club tournaments. The club participates in volley- ball, speedball, basketball, softball, and intramural games. Club members also participate in school affairs such as supporting a candidate for homecoming queen. G.A.A. members learn team work, ability to follow as well as to lead, and engage in friendly competi- tion. Page Thirty-Nine
